Calvin walked over to the large pasture of which he had decided to put Sunday in that Friday after their workout. The weather was good and was supposed to stay good untill Sunday, and so he decided to leave her out untill that morninng on Saturday.
"Oh my, girl! What have you been doing?" The teen asked his mare. Her whole body was caked with brown mud, and her once pearly white mane and tail were now covered with green grass stains and little red burs. He sighed becomming aware of the work ahead of him, not that he minded for his beauty of a mare, but really this?!? Quickly he managed to get a red halter on Sunday and was leading her away with a nice matching red lead towards the wash bay. He had some difficult work ahead of him.
Calvin liked the setup of the wash bays. There was three stalls, and each had a set of cross-ties as well as racks on the walls with supplies that could be used by any students or staff. the only rule was clearly posted on the outside of each wash stall.
Please make sure to properly clean up after your horse and make sure the washbay looks the same as when you found it.
Easy enough! Thought Calvin. He carefully placed his horse in front of the first wash stall, carefully he asked his mare to back up into the stall and she obeyed willingly. He found a older looking halter on the side of the wash stall. He picked it up and switched out that one for his mares nice clean red one, as well he removed the red nylon lead rope and placed them on a hook away from the wash stall.
Calvin rolled up his sleeves as he started to look for a comb. First, he would start with Sunday's mane. He sighed as he started to pick away at the entangled devil's formally known as burs.
