Running the purple and white brush down her hair, Lindsey allowed it to run through; getting caught in one place, but yanking it free. She then allowed herself to settle on the fact that it was not getting any better, and just threw it up into a bun.
Walking out of the Red House, she found her stride quiet fast. Glancing at the car's doors in the parking lot, she thought that the truck would be frowning that it's owner would not be taking it to the restaurant. Continuing with her walk, she let her legs feel free; taking in the hard pavement underneath herself, and supporting herself above it.
Seeing around the block, she was fascinated at the fact that the brunette had made it so fast around the campus. Glaring at the Tastee's sign hanging above it, she moved around cars; and cross the street, finally able to get inside. It was a neutral feeling inside, not to warm or cold, and she appreciated the temperature.
Sitting down in a booth, she awaited her order to be taken by a waitress, but focused more on her facebook page and phone. Texting was herself now, since all the homework had been completed. Scrolling out of her news feed, she looked at pictures and notifications. Finding nothing, she set her phone down and rubbed her head with the sleeves of her hoodie.
The last time she had talked to Jacob had seemed like a lifetime, and she wanted to end it. Now. She hadn't been able to sleep, or do anything for that matter; without thinking about that last moment, or him; or Queen. Titan hadn't been much better, ever since that day, he wanted to start playing with other horses more and more, but now he didn't seem like he wanted to do anything. Just like her.

Jacob was in town. Watching as objects pass back from the driver's seat of his truck. His head was buzzing as he thought about Lindsey and they were when they were together. He was thinking more than friends, but it seems too desperate if he just spits it out too early. He wondered when the right time was. Maybe he just shouldn't. Was it the right time? Too early? Too late? So many questions for him to answer all at once. He spotted the resturant, Tastee's and decided to stop there for a while. He didn't feel like Boogie ood at the Bootin' Scootin' Boogie, and he doesn't feel like paying a large tab at the Blue Water's Resturant.
As he parked in the customer parking lot at the place. He opened the door and slammed it shut. He stuffed his keys in his jean pocket and cautiously walked in, unsure what he's specifically cautious about. As he opened the glass door entrance, he suddenly spotted a girl at the booth. He then stopped in his tracks for a minute to proccess. He swallowed as he finally noticed who it was. Lindsey. The last time he say her was a while ago. It was as if they never existed as friends anymore. He keeps getting the feeling like this might be the right moment. He soon got the courage to walk over and sit beside her. He stumbled on his words slightly as he spoke up. "Um, H-Hey Lindsey... How have you been?" He then cleared his throat so he wouldn't have to make a fool of himself when the conversation continues.

As she was sitting there the waistress came and submitted her order. She wasn't in the mood for anything to eat, but she was thristy. Ordering some soda seemed to help as she drank from the straw; checking her phone.
Her thumbs moving over the lightened up phone, Lindsey replied to a text message that had been on the screen for a little while now, and she hadn't noticed. Locking her screen, she saw the picture of Titan and her, which she missed him so badly. Hearing the door to the little dine in open up, she glanced over; catching sight of Jacob.
Placing a hand through her hair, Lindsey felt the bun fall down her side. Her hair was now loose, and she decided on just giving up and letting it all fall down in it's normal part. As he seemed to notice her just as much, Lindsey smiled as he came over. Hearing his stuttering, she couldn't help but grin. It was cute, and funny.
Good, how about yourself? she asked him now returning the question. She liked him, but she didn't know if he wanted to be more; considering their run it at the little stream there.

It seems that every time he thinks about Lindsey, he gets his wish by seeing her every time he goes out. It was actually a great wish, since she was the only good friend that ever understood his life. She understood what he was going through back in the past. So that's what actually makes him like her even more. A girl who just listens and reassures someone without even trying. What are the chances you could stumble into that? He gave a bit of a shy smile but soon let it out a bit into just a regular small smile. He wasn't talking to a stranger, so why should he hide.
There is one reason to hide, to hide from who they were together. Just a pair of students attending BRRA, best friends, or maybe something more. 'When will it ever stop..' He begged in his mind as he glanced back over to the girl as she responded to his question. "I'm alright, I guess... It's been a bit lonely without you.." He happened respond and blurt out about how he was missing Lindsey. 'Great, just great... Now it makes you seem desperate.' He muttered in his thoughts all frustrated. He just made a bigger fool of himself. "Um.. Mind if I join you?" He finally asked, usually knowing she wouldn't mind, but it was more polite to ask.
'Better not make a bigger fool of yourself then you already are..' He continued to think as he waited for a standard response from her. He is strong and all, but sometimes his feelings get to him. Not those cry-baby feelings. Those feelings between someone. There he goes, thinking about what the two friends are if they were together. 'Give it a break, be a man..' He reassured himself to man up and just continue on his day. He ran a hand through his hair, slightly all worked up, but didn't show it. Hoping Lindsey wouldn't notice.

Seeing the boy's shhy smile then turn into a regular grin that she loved Lindsey smiled back. They seemed fine atleast better than they were originally. She liked it that way as well and she hoped to keep it that way too.
Hearing his response she stopped her scrolling the news feed and looked up at him as he said something else. It hasn't been any better without you; and sure I could use some company.
She let her thumbs sweep acrossed her screen as she replied to a text and then she locked it; placing it down in her pocket of her jacket. So how have you and Queen been doing? Anything new? she asked him referring to his mare. Titan missed the horse a lot. He nickered everytime they saw her and tried to trample Lindsey in the process of getting to her.
The other day we passed by her and Titan found the urge to trample me. she said to Jacob sharing the news with him; a grin playing on her face. She missed the times they had although their ups and downs they've made it through almost everything.

Jacob kept the thought about the two of them stuck in his brain. Should this be the time he should ask her the total question? Too early? This was like the third time he thought about it since he saw Lindsey. He just can't get over it. He has got to get this out sooner or later. Maybe later today, is a good time. 'What if her answer is unlike what you expect?' He continued thinking before he heard the girl say something.
He heard the first part of her sentence before letting him join her. He sat next to her and then continued his grinning sensation. "Truth is, it really has been lonely without you or Titan's company in a while. I guess I'm speaking for the both of us." He let out, answering the question while referring to Queen and himself. He didn't regret telling the truth about how his life was. Since the mare was always in a frisky and playful mood, he knew she missed her friend Titan as well.
He let out a chuckle at her comment about Titan wanting to trample her, just for Queen. "Well then, maybe we should meet up at the pastures or trails together. Just for Titan's and Queen's sake." He commented with another light smile. He didn't care if smiling as much was awkward then a regular grin. He just enjoyed his time with Lindsey especially. He would always get a good feeling in himself every time he has the moment to talk with this girl. He just wished he could find the way to tell her how he wanted her to be with him.
