Westin stepped out of his truck, which was told to be parked outside the barn. He was suppose to pull it and the trailer around to the side when he was done, so that the trailer would be able to get unlatched and set down.
Hearing his boots crunch against the gravel rock, Westin could see the foggy breathe come out from the trailer's slits in the heavy metal. Hearing Knight snort from inside, he smiled; happy to finally let the horse out. Knight, be good and have a good attitude. Wess told the big gelding, making sure he had a full accent with him.
He had promised himself that he would keep the accent, and not let the American's get to him. Sighing as the horse pushed his weight along the trailer, rocking it slightly; Westin grabbed the lead rope, ready for when the horse came out. Dropping the trailer's gate slowly, he moved a mat in place; so his hooves wouldn't get damaged. Seeing the bay already lined up and ready to go, Wess walked inside and unlatched the divider; as his trailer could hold up to four horses.
Not latching the rope on quiet yet, he awaited his horse to back out of the trailer, which he did in a nice line; lowering his head for Westin to place it on the halter's ring. Stroking his neck, and Knight shaking his mane out, Wess latched the trailer back up and continued to let the horse stretch out; before bringing him inside the barn yet.

Bronwyn really had no business inide Red Willor Barn, as both of her horses were kept in White Oak barn, but she had grown curious over the last few weeks as to what noble equine companions were kept in the second barn. So she ventured thus, into the unknown, walking slowl down the barn aisle and pausing at each and every stall to peer inside, petting the horses that were confined inside and sighing when the stall was empty, meaning she wouldn't be able to see the horse that the stall belong to at the moment. The girl had already just about memorized the names of the horses stalled inside the White Oak barn, and she planned on doing the same for the ones in Red Willow...
The animals were gorgeous, she admitted, though in her mind, none were as gorgeous as her lovely Sugar and handsome Phantom. They toppd them all, but the girl knew she was just biased and all of the horses were dear to their owners hearts.
Bronnie whirled around when the truck and trailer pulled up, and she watched curiously, pushing her long hair behind an ear and wishing she'd thought to bring a hairtie, as the boy unloaded the handsome equine from the dark cavern of the trailer. A new arrival? She thought, inching closer so as to see both the teen and his horse better.

Keeping his eyes on the Cherry Bay at the same time as looking around the campus, Wess ran a hand through his brunette hair; swiping it all up in one motion, and fixing it quickly. Stroking the horses neck as he read the correct barn sign, Westin walked them both into the entrance of the Red Willow Barn.
Seeing horses in and out of their stalls, he realized that it was an unusual time, and hoped that the barns were fairly more busy than this. If not, he would have a lot of adjusting to do.
Seeing a blonde haired girl, Wess walked him and Knight up to her, she didn't seem to be with or by any certain horse; so he didn't mind asking her. Hello, miss? Would you mind showing me to his stall, if you know where it is? Westin asked her, handing her a slip of paper in which the stall number had been written upon.
He hoped that he didn't show much of his England accent in him, although the American's seemed like an accent to him; being from London all his life, it was considered his language.
Knight stomped his hoof down, suddenly getting impatient, and Wess stroked the bay's muzzle, making sure that he wouldn't get to nippy with him; not now at least.

Bronwyn edged a bit closer so she could see the horse a bit more clearly. She immediately liked the large animal, the cherry bay coat was gorgeous, though she considered a 'cherry bay' and a 'blood bay' the same things, so, in her mind, it was a blood bay horse. Still, beautiful… absolutely beautiful. She frowned when her long blonde hair fell back over in her eyes and, searching around, she found a stray haystring and tied her hair back.
The girl jumped when she was suddenly addressed and a light hint of red rose in her face as she suddenly became aware of what she was wearing… a pair of ratty old jeans with holes in the knees (showing that she wore a pair of skintight black leggings under the jeans) and a longsleeved brown 'Aero' shirt under a dark blue t-shirt that had several bleach stains on it. The clothes were her mucking out/stall cleaning clothes… as she had been cleaning her horses stalls that morning and hadn't bothered to change. Stains… my jeans are all stained up from mucking out their stalls… she thought, knowing that the boy must not think much of her. "Um… yeah, sure…" She said hesitantly, tugging at the bottom of her shirt and feeling a bit idiotic for having a haystring tying back her hair now. "This way." She started off, down the aisle, searching for the number. "Um, I'm Bronwyn. So… you're from somewhere in Great Britain?" She questioned, her embarrassment at her looks disappearing as her curiosity got the better of her. "I don't mean to pry, it's just that my dad is from overseas and has the same accent. I'm just curious." Bronnie herself was from Maine, not overseas, and she didn’t have any type of 'cool' accent… just American.

Seeing the girl tie her hair back with a hairtie as it fell into her face again, Wess smiled a bit. She was dressed appropriatley for the barn, and he liked that; that she wasn't one of those girls who hated being dirty or cared about what they looked like all the time.
As she responded nicely to his concern about the stall, Westin smiled, saying "thank you". Leading Knight down the aisle's filled with stalls, he awaited his turn to pull his horse inside one that they could call his home now.
Hearing her name, he never had met anyone with the same name; ever, in his life. He thought it was a nice name, and he liked it. Nice name. I'm Westin, but people call me Wess. Yeah....I am. he replied to her, staring straight ahead and glancing at the other horse's that stuck their heads out to greet the newcomers.
No prying, I'm very open with things; you could crack me in a matter of seconds. he greeted back to her. He was pretty much an open book and would tell anyone his plans or anything that he was thinking about them.

"Oh, it's no problem. Lucky I've been exploring this barn for a few, at least. My horses are in White Oak Barn… uh… the first barn when you come down here." She explained, turning to give the boy a grin. "Well, Wes… people often call me 'Bronnie'. I guess for some, 'Bronwyn' is too much of a mouthful." She explained. Bronnie quite liked her name, regardless of what other people thought. It was older-fashioned, and she liked older, more unique sounding names herself. Her cat was called 'Archimedes', for pete's sake. "I was curious about the horses that were kept in this barn." She said, sort of explaining what she was doing in the barn that she really had no reason to be inside.
Bronwyn watched as he put his horse away, glancing away after a moment when a horse in the opposite stall poked its head over the half-door. She walked over and scratched the long face, "Hey boy… or girl, whichever you are. You looking for a petting?" She asked the other horse, rubbing down the animal's face affectionately. When the equine realized she had no treats, the large animal disappeared back to the haynet at the rear of the stall, and Bronwyn glanced over to the boy again. "So, if you need help with figuring anything out around here, I might can help you out. I've been here for a while now." She offered.

Hearing her explanation of why she had been in the Re Willow barn, Wess nodded. He would of wanted to know what kind of horses were held in the White Oak Barn if it was viseversa. Hearing her shortened name, Westin liked it either way. Whichever way you perfer. he didn't want her to feel like she had to be perfect girl around him.
Turning Knight into a boxed in stall, Westin unlatched his lead from the halter. Seeing that simebof the other horses had halters on as well, he left it on, like he always had. Seeing Brownyn pet another horse which seemed to beg for treats, Wess laughed a bit. Seeing the horse retreat into it's stall when it found out she was treatless was tthe highlight of his day.
Thats nice to know. Maybe you could start off by showing me around campus sometime? Westin didn't really know his way around and it would be nice to have a guide. Walking out of the stall and latched up the door, Knight immediatley stuck his head over the wood, wanting attention. Stroking the big bays muzzle, Wess thought that he might take him out for a ride.
Or a ride? he then offered her.

"Either works. I go by both, so it's not really like I have a preference." She told him, laughing a little and giving him a small smile. She didn't really care what people called her as long as it was nice. One of her friends back home had often called her 'Wynnie' as a joke, but it was just another nickname. Not that Bronnie planned on getting that name started again, though. She didn't mind it; it was just reserved for use by her best friend Candace.
Her grin widened when he requested her to show him around. She enjoyed helping people out, and this guy had the makings for a great friend and companion, she could tell. Plus, he was adorable. "I'd love to show you around!" She exclaimed, "I mean, yeah… of course… uh… Oh… A ride?" She latched onto the idea of a ride. Bronnie had most often been riding Sugar, and not Phantom… the girl knew she seriously needed to ride her American Warmblood. The gorgeous horse was probably sick of pasture and stalls. She nodded enthusiastically, happy to have met someone whom she immediately clicked with. "Sure. If you want to take a trail-ride or something, I'm totally game."

Catching a small smile from the girl, Wess immediatley wished that he could keep it on her face. He loved her smile, and everything about her; but he didn't plan on anything to be started soon, but that may change.
Seeing her grin widen at the sound of showing him around a bit, he nodded and then said, Great, that would be nice. I'm assuming you would like that as well. he asked, but stated as well. You could tell by the time and reaction of how girls answer you. It's not that hard to tell their mood, and Wess had plenty of pratice with that.
That sounds good. Would you want to meet in between the two barns? You can choose where we're headed off to. Westin said back to her. He let go of Knight's head and let the gelding retreat back into his stall, which was made of a nice wood and could hold any horse imaginable.
Knight perked his ears back and forth, wanting attention from the female outside the doorway. Nickering and then nudging her; he dodged back inside the stall door, playing his game. Smiling Wess shook his head at the big bay.

Bronwyn let a smile slip back onto her face when his horse nudged at her and retreated back inside the stall. She recognized it for its worth, a game, and reached over the stall door, gently pushing at the bay's neck before offering a scratching along the underside of the mane. "Hey boy. You jealous 'cause I was petting the other horse over there?" She said to the bay animal, rubbing his neck energetically before pulling away and turning to look back to Wes.
"Actually..." She said, thinking fast, "If you don't mind which trail we go on, there's a trail that follows the river down to a waterfall. I haven't ridden it yet, in fact, my last ride along the river trails ended... well, shockingly." Yeah, ended with me soaking wet and trapped in the middle of the river with Sugar because of the steepness of the banks... not doing that again... "I've been meaning to ride down to the waterfall. I want to see it before the colder days get here and I'm too impatient to wait until next spring and summer. You wanna meet up at the trail? It's pretty easy to find, the trails have signs saying which one is which." She said/asked, hoping he would agree.
Notes: Do you want to start the new thread in the trails or do you want me to?
